Brentwood College School is a co-educational university preparatory school for students in grades 9 through 12. Founded in 1923, Brentwood has established itself as a leader among boarding schools with a strong reputation for guiding our students to be the leaders of tomorrow. With 446 students who enjoy the 47 acre oceanfront campus and our modern facilities, Brentwood is a truly remarkable place to meet life long friends while gaining a world class education. Located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Brentwood's wireless oceanfront campus has a full complement of modern buildings with SMARTBoards in every classroom, two computer labs, a raked lecture theatre and six science labs. Students use the school’s waterfront access for outdoor activities such as sailing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking as well as marine biology and oceanography studies. The Art and Mary Jane Crooks Hall provides students with a one stop shop for food, laundry, supplies and socializing. The T. Gil Bunch Centre hosts a full schedule of performances from our arts students and is also host to many local shows and seminars. The Woodward sportsplex with surrounding fields and tennis courts gives our athletes world class facilities to practice and compete. modern facilities. Students are expected to achieve superior academic results, explore their intellectual curiosity, and build their knowledge through Brentwood's unique tri-partite programme (Academics, Arts and Sports). All graduates attend post-secondary education (83% to their 1st choice). The most popular countries for post-secondary education are Canada, Scotland, England, and the United States. Last year’s graduates received offers from such institutions as Oxford, Duke, Brown, Colgate, Queens University, University of Victoria and St. Andrews University, School of Medicine. |
