Grade 7 Student Awarded Top 20 Under 20

Why shouldn't children in other parts of the world have what we have here in Canada and what we often take for granted? Eleven-year-old Bilaal Rajan asks himself this question on a regular basis and it’s what drives him to help children in need throughout the world. Bilaal, a grade 7 student from Richmond Hill, Ontario and a UNICEF Canada Child Representative, was recognized today with a prestigious 2008 Top 20 Under 20 Award, presented by Youth In Motion, for his outstanding efforts to advocate and fundraise to improve the lives of children around the globe.
